-
- Being in the PC Consulting business, I know this first hand. Lan-Server is
- a fate worse than death. Win95 has built in networking that is easy as Amiga
- plug and play. They also have the concept of plug and play beginning.
- <admittedly, slowly> OS/2 has NO plug and play, and the networking doesn't
- work untill you have pulled out at least half your hair. <at least it is less
- each time> Finding OS/2 drivers for most hardware is harder than finding
- Amiga business software! If you think of OS/2 as a sucess story, then
- "The Burning Bed" must be a love story! <Hint: "The Burning Bed" was the movie
- wher the woman killed her abusive husband by lighting him on fire in bed>

-
- The programming may not be the tightest, but the way they do business is
- the best. They try to make money, and do that quite well.
-
- >Microsofts programmers seem unable to write software for the amiga, and

-
- It is not that they can't, but that they won't make enough money at it.
- With the same programmers, they can make more money writing for the PC or Mac.
-

-
- It is no hidden file. It is the connection protocall for the MSN. They
- are not the first to do this. <since when has MickeySoft ever NOT copied an
- idea?> Prodogy started doing it as well, but stoped when people started
- leaving in droves. MickeySoft has never tried to deny that they are doing it,
- either. They just don't allocate part of the promotions budget to telling
- you. :-)
